  • ACPI - The Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) specification is an open standard for unified operating system-centric device configuration and power management.
  • CPUID - CPU Identification
  • ATA - Advanced Technology Attachment, an interface for computer storage devices
  • DMI - Desktop Management Interface, in computers, a part of System Management BIOS
  • GPU - Graphics processing unit. A graphics processing unit or GPU (also occasionally called visual processing unit or VPU) is a specialized processor that offloads 3D graphics rendering from the microprocessor. In 2008, Intel, NVIDIA and AMD/ATI were the market share leaders, with 49.4%, 27.8% and 20.6% market share respectively.
